A scientific seminar of the FD 1.37 Dissertation Council was held at the Genetic Resources Institute of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan to discuss the dissertation submitted by Shadar Alizade for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Biology.

The applicant presented his dissertation entitled “Molecular-Genetic Study of Salt Stress Tolerance in Cotton Genotypes” in the field of Genetics.

Following the presentation, seminar participants expressed their views and comments and addressed questions to the applicant, who provided detailed responses.

The dissertation research was positively evaluated by the specialists and, following the scientific discussion, was considered appropriate for submission to the next stage of academic evaluation
