A meeting was held at the Genetic Resources Institute of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan in honor of Gazanfar Musa oghlu Aliyev, Leading Researcher of the Department of Cereal and Legume Crops and PhD in Agrarian Sciences.

The event highlighted Gazanfar Aliyev’s distinguished professional career, extensive scientific and pedagogical activities, and longstanding contributions to the advancement of agricultural science. His significant research achievements in the collection, conservation, study, and effective utilization of plant genetic resources for crop breeding were particularly emphasized. His valuable contribution to the training and professional development of young specialists was also highly appreciated.

Gazanfar Aliyev has made a substantial contribution to the development of research on plant genetic resources and their application in agricultural production and crop improvement. His scientific and educational activities are reflected in more than 50 scientific publications, methodological manuals, and teaching materials throughout his scientific career.

In recognition of his long-term and fruitful scientific activity and significant contributions to the advancement of agricultural science, Gazanfar Musa oghlu Aliyev was presented with a Certificate of Honor from the Genetic Resources Institute.

The Directorate of the Genetic Resources Institute congratulated Gazanfar Aliyev on his achievements and expressed its sincere wishes for good health, longevity, prosperity, and continued success in his scientific and professional endeavors.
