Vice president of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS), academician Ibrahim Guliyev, Academician-Secretary of Division on Biological and Medical Sciences academician Ahliman Amiraslanov and Directror of the Institute of Physiology named after A.I.Karayev, doctor of science in Biology Ulduz Khashimova have visited the Genetic Resources Institute (GRE).
The GRI Director, corresponding member of ANAS Zeynal Akparov provided the insight to the guests about the research works carried out in various departments and current staff of the Institute.
During the meeting they discussed directions of multidisciplinary researches, which will be held together.
The guests also visited Genomics and Virology laboratories in the Departments of Biotechnology and Immunogenetics of the Institute.
The guests hailed works carried out at the GRI and emphasized the necessity of implementing joint researches in human genetics and genomics.
