 Carries out collection, restoration, preservation, research, and testing of  genetic diversity of cereals, legumes, technical plants, fruits and berries, grapes, vegetables, melons and their wild relatives belonged to Garabagh region; propagation of priority forms, organization of initial seed production of districted varieties, preparation of cultivation technology and their distribution in the farms. At present, the research base is  under the occupied territory near the front line.
