AGRIS (International System of Agricultural Sciences and Technologies) is a global public database of more than 12 million structured bibliographic records on agricultural science and technology and is considered one of the major databases of the world in biological and agricultural sciences.

Maintained by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), AGRIS has been serving users from more than 150 organizations (65 countries) through facilitating access to knowledge in agriculture, science and technology since 1974.

More than 400,000 agricultural and research professionals worldwide access AGRIS resources. The AGRIS Search system allows scientists, researchers, and students to perform complex searches using the AGROVOC database, special journal titles, or keywords of countries, institutions, and authors.

The Supreme Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan ascribes the AGRIS database to biological and agrarian sciences to international summarization and indexing systems (databases), and the articles published in journals indexed in this database are accepted as international articles.

We congratulate all scientists and specialists in the biological and agrarian sciences of Azerbaijan on the occasion of the first indexing of Proceedings of the Genetic Resources Institute of ANAS in the AGRIS Database of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).
