Ganja Azerbaijan State Agrarian University held republican scientific-practical conference on "Academician Jalal Aliyev and genetic resources of biological diversity". The conference was organized in accordance with the Action Plan for the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On academician Jalal Aliyev’s 90th anniversary” dated May 22, 2018.

Rector of the educational institution , corresponding member of ANAS Ibrahim Jafarov opened the event and told about the significance of the scientific-practical conference. According to the rector's speech, more than 100 articles were presented at the conference on various aspects of the Jalal Aliyev’s fundamental scientific work and achievements of academician.

The conference was attended by Deputy Minister of Agriculture Seyfaddin Talibov, chairman of the ANAS Ganja Division, academician Fuad Aliyev,Deputy Director of the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology Alamdar Mammadov and Natig Allahverdiyev, head of the ANAS Laboratory, corresponding member of ANAS Ibrahim Azizov and others.

The scientific-practical conference has continued its work in sections. In conclusion was held survey at the Laboratory of Plant Physiology after academician Jalal Aliyev, established at the Agronomy Faculty.
