on July 6 was held the bureau meeting of Biological and Medical Sciences Department of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences.
in the event, the academician-secretary of the department, academician Ahliman Amiraslanov, members of the bureau, heads of scientific institutions and other guests took part.
Academician Ahliman Amiraslanov, the director of the Institute of Botany, congratulated the Eldar Novruzov, Doctor of Biological Sciences with the 75th anniversary, Giyas Guliyev , chief of laboratory of Teriology of institute of Zoology, Doctor of Biological Sciences with 70th anniversary, Fakhraddin Askerov, director of the Laboratory of Cellular Morphofunctional Plastic Laboratory of the Institute of Physiology named after academician Abdulla Garayev with 80th anniversary and presented diploma and bunches of flowers.
The real and correspondent members of the department, the academician-secretary congratulated and wished them success in their future scientific activities.
Academician Ahliman Amiraslanov brought the agenda of the Bureau meeting to the participants and first touched on scientific-organizational issues. He declared that reports from the academic research institutes on the results of the scientific and scientific-organizational activities of the Department of Biological and Medical Sciences of ANAS for the first half of 2017 have been accepted and appreciated. Academician Ahliman Amiraslanov, speaking about the projects implemented in scientific institutions, spoke about the grants for the department, articles published in impressive magazines, as well as the level of research carried out by the institutes.
At the end of the meeting a number of personnel issues were also discussed.
