The necessity to further improve activity on public relations in scientific enterprises and organizations of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) and continue strenthening of provision of scientific information at quality level caused the establishment of a new relevant organisation for relations with the public.
To this end, based on a decision of the ANAS Presidium No. 9/6 dated 29 June 2016 “Public Relations” a department was established at the Genetic Resources Institute. “Internet and multimedia group”and Museum became part of this department.
The newly established department will serve the purpose of providing the public with permanent and detailed information about scientific research carried out in various spheres at the Institute and achieved results, as well as news of scientific and technical progress.
The head of the department was appointed a doctor of philosophy in Biology Ayaz Mammadov.
