Swiss National Science Foundation (SNF) creates opportunities to use financial assistance and grants for establishing cooperation relations between Azerbaijani and Swiss research centres and universities, and for scientific investigation.

SNF allocates project grants for supporting various topics chosen by researchers. Researchers, who receive salaries from organisations that employs them, but experiencing need in additional financial means for implementing a research project can use this programme.

The researchers can apply for research expenditures for project, salaries for employees attracted to the project, as well as financial expenses of scientific cooperation and relations. Projects must be submitted before October 1, 2016.
